located in the heart of Pearland, The Villages at Mary's Creek is a small gated community with homes built by Wilshire and Meritage. The subdivision amenities include a swimming pool, walking trails, a lake, and several play grounds. Independence Park is located directly next to The Villages At Mary's Creek.

From my experience with Wilshire and Meritage home, they are very well built. They include everything you would expect in a quality home builder including many energy efficient items such as tek-shield and vinyl windows. Both homebuilders are borderline "custom builders". They have spec homes to start with and they can change many aspects of the building to suit your custom needs.

THE LAKES AT COUNTRY PLACE

The Lakes at Country Place is a private gated with security guard subdivision located at McHard road and Highway 288. Many Texas Medical Center and downtown professionals call The Lakes at Country Place home. There are 488 homes built on 265 acres of land.

CABOT COVE

Cabot Cove in Pearland Texas is located between McLean and Veterans, one mile from hwy 35. Homes are built by Lennar and Meritage around a fantastic lake. Cabot Cove includes a community swimming pool, pier, and walking trail around the lake. As of the beginning of 2009, Meritage is still building new homes in Cabot Cove.

AUDUBON PLACE

Audubon Place, Pearland Texas is located close to Cabot Cove, in the center of Pearland right off of the newly expanded Magnolia Rd. Plans are in place to extend Magnolia from Southfork Rd. (to 288) and widen the lanes toward hwy 35 with a bridge over the RR tracks. Audubon place has some very unique homes in a small, private community.

TOWNE LAKE ESTATES Located in the middle of Pearland right across from the Pearland High School and Independence Park. Homes built by Brighton in the early 2000s around a lake in the middle of the subdivision. Towne Lake Estates has super easy access to the new Pearland Parkway. There are no brand new homes being built in Towne lake Estates.
